Uncertainty and fear can impact us all in different ways. We’ve identified 3 ‘zones’ which anybody might find themselves in during challenging times.
It’s important to remember that it’s completely normal to find yourself in the fear zone while under stress, as we are hard wired to react to threats in our environment using our fight, flight or freeze response.
This adaptive response means we get an excess in hormones like adrenaline and cortisol, which lead us to act in ways we might not usually.
But everybody has the potential to move into the learning and growth zones, and use challenging times as an opportunity to learn new skills, help others, or simply be more present in our lives.
