Senior Workplace Wellbeing Trainer

Debra joined Well at Work in January 2020 as a trainer to deliver training and consultancy to organisations seeking to improve mental health awareness and workplace wellbeing in the workplace with specialism in delivering to senior leaders as she understands the challenges faced at all levels of an organisation and the unique pressures that this can bring. Debra has extensive and substantive experience as a senior leader with over 28-years’ experience leading large multiple discipline teams in Sales, Marketing and Technology Development as a Managing Director in a ‘start -up’ entrepreneurial environment, Divisional Digital Director for a Global Local and Regional Media Company and as a Commercial Director for a Sport and Entertainment Image content producer serving National Newspapers, Broadcasters, Government and Public Sectors.

Debra is a qualified Mental Health First Aider, qualified and extensively experienced business & leadership coach, and trainer. She shares her own ‘lived experience’ both living and working with a General Anxiety Disorder and enables her to expertly deliver ‘Managing Mental Health and Wellbeing’ workshops to a wide range of organisational cultures in both the profit and not for profit sector.

Outside of work Debra is married to Mark who had an operational and training career with the Metropolitan Police for over 30 years and now works as a consultant, trainer and coach for police medic and firearms courses, and she is also mother to her teenage twins Oliver and Sophie. Her family pursue active sports such as cycling, skiing and rowing, of which Debra enjoys being on the side-line for most of the time. In her relaxing time Debra likes to read, cook and go for long walks in nature with friends and their dogs.
