This World Mental Health Day is more important than ever. It’s been a tough year for us all and that has had a real impact on people’s mental health and wellbeing.
It may not be surprising to hear that our wider organisation’s services with adults and young people in need of mental health support have seen a huge increase in demand and complexity. This increase in mental health problems is inevitably going to impact workplaces, therefore planning and upskilling to be able to handle this before it’s a problem is essential.
This year the theme for World Mental Health Day is : Mental Health for All, Greater Access, Greater Investment
These themes create opportunities for organisations to demonstrate their commitment to improving workplace wellbeing and mental health support by investing further into support programmes and preventative initiatives as well as reflect on their overall wellbeing strategy.
