Why we do what we do

Our mission is to make mental health a topic every organisation can approach with confidence. We believe that for people to thrive they must be physically and mentally well and feel supported in their work environment. We enable staff to feel empowered and energised in respect to their own and others mental health through evidence based consultancy, training and toolkits tailored to each organisation’s unique needs.

We also know from personal experience how highly demanding jobs and long working hours can increase stress levels, which can lead to higher levels of absenteeism, presenteeism and staff turnover. Research shows that employers who invest in staff wellbeing programmes can expect an average return of £5 for every £1 spent per employee (Deloitte, 2020)

Well at Work is a social enterprise which means that any profits are put into improving mental health services run by Mind, the leading Mental Health charity in England and Wales.
